Common questions about Autheona plans, billing, and other features.
The free tier / developer plan includes a simple Autheona attribution on your signup experience. You can choose any of these options: We verify signups with Autheona, Signup verification by Autheona, or This signup is protected by Autheona. The word Autheona must link to https://autheona.com?utm_source=your-product-domain, where your-product-domain should be replaced with your product's domain. You can remove the attribution at any time by upgrading to Team, Business, or Enterprise plan. Add the attribution somewhere clearly visible on your signup experience, preferably near the signup form or verification-related UI. The attribution should be visible to users who are signing up and should not be hidden behind a menu, tooltip, or other interaction.
Every plan includes a specific limit on the number of API calls you can make. If you exceed your plan's included API call limit, we won't block or skip any requests. Instead, you'll be charged a small fee for each additional API call. Additional API calls continue to be billed until you reach your plan's hard spending cap, if one is configured. If your plan does not have a hard cap, you can continue making API calls without a limit, and you'll be billed accordingly.
In the policy engine, you can define custom rules with references to gain maximum control over validation. Unlike generic tools, you can decide what needs to be done based on your specific use case.
Your checks will not stop, and you will not lose new verifications. We understand that sudden growth is a good thing, so we never block your API access if you pass your plan limit. You will simply be charged a tiny fraction of a cent for each extra check. You can upgrade your plan at any time in your dashboard to get better rates.
Beta features are new capabilities that are available for use but still under active development. They are released gradually to paid plans to gather feedback and improve before full launch. Beta features may have limited functionality and are subject to change as we refine them based on user feedback.
We can help you integrate Autheona into your application and get it working with your existing authentication flow. This includes guidance on the API integration, configuration, and troubleshooting if you run into issues during setup.
We can help you configure your Autheona policy based on your specific use case. This includes helping you define the right rules, decide how different cases should be handled, and make sure your policy is configured correctly.
You can have this running in minutes, not days. We do not force you to install heavy, bloated software into your app. You get a clean, simple REST API that your developers will love. You simply send us few details, and we instantly send back the response.
Not at all. You are in complete control. You can create an account right now, start on the completely free plan, and test the API yourself. You only need to contact us if you want a custom Enterprise setup. Otherwise, you can manage your plan, upgrades, and rules entirely on your own.
