1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing Autheona (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Autheona provides a real-time intelligent verification and validation platform (the “Service”) designed for SaaS onboarding and risk assessment.
This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which subscription fees or usage charges may be refunded. By purchasing or using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not subscribe to or use the Service.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
2.1 Subscription-Based Plans
- Free Trial (if applicable): If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. Once the trial ends and payment is processed, refunds are subject to the terms below.
- Monthly Subscriptions: Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable once payment has been successfully processed.
- Annual Subscriptions: Annual subscription fees may be eligible for a partial refund only under the limited circumstances described in Section 3. Any approved refund may be prorated based on usage and time elapsed.
2.2 Usage-Based Billing
For plans billed based on API requests or usage volume:
- Charges are based on actual consumption.
- Usage fees are non-refundable once the requests have been processed.
- Prepaid usage credits, if applicable, are non-refundable unless required by law.
2.3 Add-Ons and Additional Services
Any add-ons, additional API capacity, priority support packages, or custom services are non-refundable unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
3. Conditions for Refund
Refunds may be issued only under the following limited circumstances:
- Billing Errors: If you were incorrectly charged due to a system error (e.g., duplicate charge or incorrect billing calculation), we will investigate and issue a refund for the verified overcharge.
- Service Unavailability: If the Service experiences a prolonged and material outage that significantly prevents use, and we are unable to restore functionality within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a prorated credit or refund.
- Material Misrepresentation: If the Service is materially different from what was publicly described at the time of purchase, and this materially affects your ability to use it as intended, we may consider a refund request following internal review.
All refund determinations are made at our sole discretion.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Contact Support: Email us at support@autheona.com with your account details, billing information, and a clear explanation of the issue.
- Review Process: We may request additional information to verify your claim. We will review your request and determine whether it meets the criteria outlined in this Policy.
- Processing Time: If approved, refunds will typically be processed within 30 business days and issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise required by law.
5. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:
- User-Initiated Cancellation: Canceling your subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
- Low Usage or No Usage: Failure to use the Service does not qualify for a refund.
- Change of Mind: Deciding the Service does not meet your expectations or business model does not qualify for a refund.
- Violation of Terms: Accounts suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms and Conditions are not eligible for refunds.
- Consumed API Requests: Processed API calls and delivered results are considered fully rendered services and are non-refundable.
6. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account. We may also dispute unjustified chargebacks with the payment provider.

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
